Crutches 4 Africa Mobility Device Drive

On May 17th from 10AM-Noon the River Falls Rotary Club will be collecting mobility devices at M Health Fairview Clinic located at 319 S Main St, River Falls, WI 54022.

 

This event in collaboration with Crutches 4 Africa, aims to provide life-changing mobility aids to individuals in need across Africa. Millions of people face mobility challenges due to injury, illness, or disability, yet many lack access to the equipment they need to move independently. This initiative aims to collect and ship 3,000 mobility devices to ensure these essential tools reach those who need them most.
 

River Falls Rotary is proud to support this effort, recognizing its dual impact—promoting climate and social justice while keeping valuable medical equipment out of landfills. By donating used crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids, community members can directly improve lives and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Accepted Items:
 Crutches
 Canes
 Walkers
 Orthotic devices (e.g., walking boots, knee braces)
 Wheelchairs
 Baby joggers (not baby strollers)
